Shazina Masud is the Chief Executive Officer of Aman Foundation. She brings over 20 years of experience in private sector marketing and sales, including experience in social marketing and social franchising of reproductive health products and services. Ms. Masud has been working in the development sector for the last fifteen years and has experience of leading on country projects in Africa and Asia. Shazina joined Aman Health Care Services in March 2018 and also serves as its Chief Executive Officer.
Previously, as Country Director for PSI Ms. Masud has been responsible for stream lining PSI’s social marketing of family planning products and introducing innovative and market oriented initiatives to create a brand identity for the network of private sector providers in South Africa, Somali land, Nepal and Pakistan. She has worked closely with national governments to strengthen their capacity in providing reproductive health services as well as primary health solutions for women and children. Ms. Masud also spearheaded PSI/Nepal’s emergency response to the earthquake in Nepal by scaling up current programming and introducing immediate measures for provision of water chlorination solution and partnered with the government through the crisis.
Ms. Masud has a Masters in Business Administration from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Karachi, Pakistan and is in the process of completing an MS in Creativity in Change and Leadership studies from Buffalo College, New York.
